"Jesus is God and man in one person:
man that He may feel our woes,
God that He may help us out of them."
Charles Spurgeon
**************
Jesus willingly gave up His heavenly privileges temporarily,
humbled Himself, and took on the form of man, identifying with
him as his High Priest and Savior, through His obedient death on
the cross for the people of God.
[Christ Jesus], "Who being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something
to be grasped, but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant, being made
in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself and became obedient
to death - even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the feet of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ
is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:6-11

Jesus the Son, God the Father, (and the Holy Spirit), are three Persons,
but One Being.
[Jesus said],
"I and the Father are one."
" ... the Father is in me,
and I in the Father."
John 10:30,38
Jesus comforts those who mourn and have troubles,
and blesses his people who are persecuted because of him.
[Jesus said],
"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted."
Matthew 5:4
"Blessed are you when people insult you,
persecute you and falsely say all kinds of
evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your
reward in heaven, for in the same way they
persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Matthew 5:11-12
[He] "who comforts us in all our troubles,
so that we can comfort those in any trouble
with the comfort we ourselves have received
from God."
2 Corinthians 1:4
