No Need to Doubt or Fear

                                                         DOUBT

                                           "And Jesus answered them,

                                                      'Have faith in God.
                                                      Truly I say to you,
                                                      everyone who says to this mountain,

                                                         'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,'
                                                      and does not doubt in his heart,
                                                      but believes that what he says will come
                                                      to pass, it will be done for him."

                        Since God is sovereign, believers can have every confidence that
     God will do what is best for them.


                                                             FEAR


                                                "Even though I walk through the valley
                                                 of the shadow of death,
                                                 I will fear no evil,

                                                 for you are with me;
                                                 your rod and your staff,
                                                 they comfort me."
                                                                         Psalm 23:4

                          God will protect His people from all evil!  His constant presence
     gives the believer comfort.


                                                "The LORD is my light and my salvation;
                                                  whom shall I fear?

                                                  The LORD is the stronghold of my life;
                                                   of whom shall I be afraid?
                                                                           Psalm 27:1

                          Believers need not fear anyone or anything, for God is their
     light and salvation, and stronghold!  The Christian's soul is eternally secure.
