"In Him"

          Everyone, Christian and non-Christian alike, owes everything to Jesus Christ.
     All blessings for all people come from Him.

          *Jesus is the Creator.

          "For by Him all things were created;  things in heaven and on earth, visible
     and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;  all things were
     created by Him and for Him."  Colossians 1:16

          "...but in these last days he has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed
     heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe."  Hebrews 1:2

          *Jesus is the only way to salvation.

          "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven
     given to men by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:12

          *Jesus is Sovereign, the ruler over all creation.
  
          "I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
     Revelation 22:13

          *In Jesus, believers have life and salvation - everything we need.

          "I am the vine;  you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he
     will bear fruit;  apart from me you can do nothing."  John 15:5

          *He has the power to heal.

          "And the power of the Lord was present in Him to heal the sick."  Luke 5:17b

          *He justifies those who trust in Him.

          "...He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the
     one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.  Romans 3:26

          *We are declared righteous because of Him.

          "God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become
     the righteousness of God."  2 Corinthians 5:21

          *We are reconciled to God through Him.
  
          "All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ..." 
     2 Corinthians 5:18a

          *Our hope is in Him.

          "He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us.  On Him we have
     set our hope that He will deliver us again."  2 Corinthains 1:10

          *He gives us all we need to serve Him.

          "... that in every way you were enriched in Him in all speech and all knowledge."
     1 Corinthians 1:5

          *God makes us stand firm in Him.
 
          "And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ..."  2 Corinthians 1:21a

          *God the Father chose us in Him for salvation.

          "For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blame-
     less in His sight."  Ephesians 1:4a

          *We were adopted into God's family through Him.
    
          "In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in
     accordance with His pleasure and will."  Ephesians 1:5

          *We are redeemed and our sins forgiven in Him.

          "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins..."
     Ephesians 1:7

          *We were marked in Him with a seal.

          "Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy
     Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those
     who are God's possession - to the praise of His glory."   Ephesians 1:13b-14

          *Our faith in Him is a gift of God.

          "For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him,
     but also to suffer for Him... "  Philippians 1:29

          *The fullness of God is in Him.

          "For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him."  Colossians 1:19

          *All wisdom and knowledge are in Him.

          "...Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." 
     Colossians 2:3

          *There is light - no darkness in Him.

          "God is light;  in Him there is no darkness at all."  1 John 1:5

          *If we are in Him, we will obey Him.

          "But if anyone obeys His word, God's love is truly made complete in him.
     This is how we know we are in Him:  Whoever claims to live in Him must walk
     as Jesus did."  1 John 2:5-6

          *There is no sin in Him.

          "And in Him is no sin."  1 John 3:5b

          *We know we live in Him by the Holy Spirit.

          "Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them.  And this is how
     He lives in us:  We know it by the Spirit He gave us."  1 John 3:24

          *He is the one true God.

          "And we are in Him who is true - even in His Son Jesus Christ.  He is the true
     God and eternal life."  1 John5:20

           *Everyone who is in Jesus is safe and secure, and will spend eternity with Him
     in heaven.

          "Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building
      from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands."  2 Corinthians 5:1
