Righteous God
God is a just God and treats everyone, the righteous and the unrighteous, justly.
He will remain faithful to his promise to his people to deliver them.
"For the LORD will not forsake his
people; he will not abandon his
heritage; for justice will return to
the righteous, and all the upright
in heart will follow it."
Psalm 94:14-15
Jesus is our Shepherd and we are his sheep. We hear his voice when he calls,
and we follow him wherever he goes. He defends us against our enemies, and will
even give up his life for us to save us.
"For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his land."
Psalm 95:7
No one receives injustice from God.
He will reward the ones he has made righteous, and punish the unrighteous.
"Say among the nations, 'The LORD reigns!
Yes, the world is established; it shall never
be moved; he will judge the people with
equity."
Psalm 96:10
"He will judge the world in righteousness,
and the peoples in his faithfulness."
Psalm 96:13
God is our Creator who loves his people, and is always faithful to keep his promises.
"Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of
his pasture."
Psalm 100:3
"For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations."
Psalm 100:5
